I recently e-mail monolith and here is what I wrote:

Hello, I am a Condemned fan. I have Condemned for the Xbox 360. It is my favourite game for 360. I am just wondering If there will be a 2nd condemned? It seems like there would be a 2nd Condemned from the ending. If there is another Condemned in development, please tell me how the story is like or when it will release. Thank you for your time.

Monolith sent me an e-mail back today:Monolith currently has no plans to revive the Condemned franchise, but you never know what could happen in the future.

So... i'm hoping for a new Condemned game... I wish they were working on a new one right now. :(

What you said was revive the Condemned franchise, but you never know what could happen in the future.

None of it is true, because Condemned isn't a franchise. Theres only one game. And the developer would know what they're talking about.

They wouldn't reveal any information like this.

that's not really a sad news most games that have been developed have been told to us not having sequels yet some of them popped up you never know unless you own the company

To bad Condemned won't be gettin a sequal, but at least Gears is :P It's unannounced, but with a fanbase like that and the game selling like hotcakes, who wuldn't make a sequal?

Condemned is a great game. It was very well designed. Its a mix of CSI and Silent Hill sort of. There are some very freaky moments in the game. I hope they make a sequel. It deserves one even if it didn't sell well. The gameplay was simple but satisfying. Smacking the crap out of people with a lead pipe is good fun.

Condemned was on of the scariest games I've ever played. If you haven't bought this game yet, go out, buy a copy, and turn off the lights. Have fun peeing in your pants :)

Shame, Condemned is the most underated and one of the top 360 games, only real next gen launch game imo.

Ya, condemed was awsome, I really hope they make sequel, and I'm pretty sure It will happen. Mabey even some co-op.

Heh. Funny thing is I actually bought Condemned today. So far so good but I've only killed about 5 fools so far.

i will admit it. condemned is the only game that made me jump and made me nervous when i played it (dont know why). but i would definely like a condemned 2

Condemned was an excellent game... one of the first 360 games I played when I got mine a couple months ago. Very atmospheric, quite scary, and it actually had a very good story (even though the ending left A LOT opened... I guess that's why I liked it so much). They could do a lot with the story in a sequel... I'd love to see that happen :(. Here's to hoping!

They gave you an answer back that's cool, a second one would get bought by me. I also enjoyed this and still have to play it through a couple more times.
