i was thinkin about getting saints row, but i wanted to no if i nessesarly needed number 1 to play twos story, and if 2 is all gangsta and stuff just like 1,,
well the second one takes of after the first and you get to know allot of the characters and story from the first one I say go 1 then 2 without a doubt
You don't really need number 1 to understand the story but it would make a little more sense. Just wiki it if you really care. They are both ''gangsta'' but some parts are well written.

If you start 1 you will prob get hooked on the story anyway and finish it....hell of a fun game!

Mulitplayer is not!, A lot of people still play it online.All opinion.I thought that game had some of the worst multiplayer I have ever played.It was extremely funny watching someone get caught on fire and fall off of a roof though,or get ran over by that little security cart.
