Hey everyone. My Saints Row 2 game suddenly stopped working last night and now I can't get past the loading screen. Anyone else having this problem? My disc is in perfect shape and it worked for a few days. Now if I go to "new game, or continue game it will load for a few seconds with the music and then the music will stop and it just stays on the loading screen.
Forgive me if this sounds obvious, but have you tried testing other games on your 360? The problem could very well be your console and not the game itself.
Same here, took my game back to gamestop. I'm on my 3rd SR 2 disc. Just keeps freez'N, 5 min into the game and some times 30min into the game. I have no prob. with any other games. I think Volition inc. or THQ need to look into this.
I'm having this problem too...my other games work fine and I rented TWO discs from gamefly and both give me the same error. I've tried both from the disc and both by loading it onto the hard drive. When I select New Game the music stops and the game freezes on about the third (give or take) loading screen. It must be something to do with certain 360's...I know mine was a refurb since I had to send my 360 in for repairs (for the second time....)
i have the same problem- this is my 3rd saintsrows 2 disc and it does it on this 1. is it the game or what? i get like 5 mins into the game- i get on the boat. no police following? wtf? and after i go under the third bridge it crashes on me and screws up. and try to load it up and just dont work- i think there been a faulty batch sent out.
