Saints Row 2... Great Game (Fixed)

Even worse than Valves HL2 engine thats like 6 years old. I mean seriously the game is fun but the framerate is among the worst on the 360, the graphics ? usually I couldn't care less but these look like PS2 graphics with the gamma turned all the way up lol. Fun game but doesn't meet this gens standards.

Ok firstly a frame tear doesnt exist. There is frame rate, and screen tearing. Screen tearing doesnt really bother me unless it is severe, and in this game it is not.

This game definitely takes some frame rate hits but its really not enough to ruin the experience of the game overall.

The graphics are ok,but the game is really fun,not the best game I play,and I give it 7/10.

For anyone who cares, there are v-sync options in the menus that will drastically reduce screen tearing.

GTA 4 had better graphics but wasnt fun to me. SR2 was fun. frame rate was fine to me. could care less about pretty graphics. I still play san andreas

I honestly never noticed any framerate problems, huh. But yeah, the graphics aren't the greatest, but who cares? The game is amazingly fun.

For those who are just talking out the side of their behind and are assuming i'm a graphical elitist because I find fault with SR2's visuals, here is an example of what I am constantly experiencing, and I'm not the only one who has experienced this.

Huh, no. There's no "liars", myself i still enjoy more my share of 2D side scroller than most 360 games out nowaday.

As for Saints row 2 i never really had any problem with it and i'm sure i'd have noticed, might have to play it some more to see. owo

Sorry buddy, im in to the whole everyone has their own opinion thing but saying a game is a joke just cause YOU had some technical problems is the joke. Your generalizing a single issue you had with it and put it down instead of seeing if there is a reason for it such as a bad copy of the game. Yes I know others have experienced it but this is your thread and not theirs so we're talking about your problem.

Secondly, if you'd like I can give you a whole list of 2d games that i know quite a few people still enjoy to this day.

I was playing San Andreas, a game which was published in 2006 I think, and still managed to have loads of fun :)

Of course, I would have preferred a HD remake (like God of War has) but I wouldn't say that the graphics hinder my enjoyment too much :)

Wherelse...I never really liked Crysis. The graphics were top notch but the gameplay was kinda bad in my opinion :P
