I have been looking forward to Dead Space for a long time now, but I had a lot of fun just goofing around in Saints Row 1. I don't have enough money to buy both because of: Fallout 3, Fable 2, Gears of War 2, Prince of Persia, and GH:WT (and mabye Left 4 Dead). Thanks in advance
I am buying both myself. Saints Row 2 will hopefully have more replay value due to online multiplayer and co-op. You may get more for your money with that. But I probably haven't been looking forward to Dead Space as long as you have since I just found out about it recently. If you are more excited for that, you may want to go with it.
They both have reviews on IGN. Saints Row 2 got an 8.2 and Dead Space got an 8.7. They are both very different games so read the reviews and see which one you think you'd prefer.
Dead Space, its more unique than Saints Row 2. Don't waste your money on a gang simulation game. IMHO Saints Row 2 looks the same as the first. Just bigger... OOOOO!
Saints row 2 , ( its not as the first i promise much more activi's , custimazation , online , COOP in singleplayer good story better then GTA4....) Dead Space... i wouldent waste 60bucks on that one... looks cool but not that funny
sr2 is already pre-ordered.online co-op through the entire story. and multiplayer.plus open world usually means a hell of a lot longer game.dead space will probably be better game overall but a game thats 7-10 hrs long just isnt worth 60 bucks to me.but im sure you cant go wrong either way.
Well it depends you could buy one and rent the other if youre just gona get one it depends what type of game u prefer a good campaign but once you beat it once prob not gona go back to it or not as much as saints row but sr2 u can play over hundreds of times and not get tired of it.im buying saints row2 and renting dead space
I am going to be playing Saints Row 2, because that is what my brother is getting, but in all honesty, the game looks awesome. Dead Space looks good too, but I am going to wait till late next year probably.
Both look to be great, however Saint's Row 2 is the only one I would committ to without reading a review or trying the game before purchasing. Reason is, Dead Space created by EA. EA's record on recently released games isn't very good considering bugs & glitches which should have easily been caught & fixed during normal game testing operations. Myself, I'm more intersted in Dead Space, although I will wait until after its released to make sure such issues don't exist.
There are some really awesome games that ALREADY came out that are way better than SR2 and Dead Space. There's this one called GTA4 that blows away SR2... you can probably get it used for $30 by now. Another cool game called "BioShock" is also way better than Dead Space, and that you can get for $20 or so.
