Well, I personally never played both. So I wanted to see what all the craze was about, with the new Crackdown. So I bought Crackdown 1 two days ago. Man. Totally digging it! I will say however, collecting these little agility orbs (I believe there are 300-500) is like CRAZY-ADDICTIVE. I find myself chasing those down, and killing thugs along the way to power up. I can approve of this game ha ha! Not sure about Saints Row. I have heard really good things though.
I would say Saints Row 2. It's just crazy fun and addicting to play. The game is so free and will let you do pretty much of anything. I know a lot of people bash it for being "immature" because of it's about gangs, but it really isn't very serious. It's a bit hard to keep a straight face and set up your gang while running around as a he/she with pasties on and firing machine guns out of a golf cart. That's why I like this game so much, it isn't so strict.
