I have only played Saints Row 1 and it's amazing.Never played 2 though

Saints Row 1 and 2 both have amazing single player and Saints Row 2 has CooP through the entire SP that works amazingly... Saints Row 1 had amazing MP, but Saints Row 2's MP was amazingly horrible... They got rid of Protect the Pimp which one of my most favorite game modes of ALL TIME!!! PIMP SLAP? YES PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
You cant choose between two games that are sequel's to each other, the second is a direct continuation. I say get both, the first one is old so its pretty cheap.
I played the second which I really really really enjoyed, I got the first one afterward, and it's pretty hard for me to get into. I think because it's so stiff, and old.
Saints row 2 is definitely better than the first one but u gotta play both as they are awesome. Especially the story. Saints row 1 is very cheap now so its a good deal to get both.

Yeah for sure the second one is better, its more fun and I like the dual wield feature and motocycles, but get em both for sure.
