Saints Row has much more to do in it though.. Though the Coop in Crackdown is very fun, but still gets very repetitive after a while..

Crackdown all the way over saints row. Saints row goes beyond GTA's stylized, preposterous violence and profanity into the realm of sheer tastelessness.  Nothing in SR that is offensive is ever excused by other elements in the game, as in GTA.  You can really observe a person becoming less intelligent while playing SR.  And that's the last thing we need - more errorists (fatmike).  Crackdown is ridiculously fun, great skill development, but admittedly shorter than saint's row.  and the driving engine for crackdown is basically the burnout engine, once you're at 4 stars with your driving skill.  very wise choice.

However, Saint's Row Pros: weapons while driving, great 3rd person shooting

Crackdown cons: eager to assist auto-aim, short campaign, not as much peripheral content as SR

Saints Row because you can go up to old people with walkers and kick the walkers away and punch them in the  mouth.  Come on, that's priceless.

Well I have Saints Row and the demo on Crackdown. Crackdown is a lot shorter than Saints rRow as I nearly took out the first gang within the demo and lots of other people agree with me on this although Crackdown's agility orbs semm to be something that you could go after for hours.

Content wise, Saints Row again as it has an actual story while Crackdown has no story and you're just going around and killing things. Crackdown is a lot less buggy than Saints Row is and the way you tackle your mission opbjectives is a lot more inventive and fun in Crackdown.

Overall, if you like a story and prefer to play games with a longer lasting feel to them, I'll pick Saints Row however if you prefer fun over playing seriously as well as challenging acheivements I would pick Crackdown.

I liked Crackdown better at first, but then that quickly changed. The game is very short, and the game just loses it's appeal. Remember, you still get the Halo 3 Beta though, so it's like getting 2 games. I do like Saint's Row better though.

Honestly, not long at all. Then the only reason to keep it is for the Halo 3 beta and to run around to find orbs(which, imo, is very boring).

Crackdown. Saints Row is virtually a GTA clone where as Crackdown is more individual.

Let's put it this way: I spent a lot more time on Saint's Row than I did on Crackdown.

I hated both games, but Saint's Row is the better made game. Crackdown is a super-budget title in a $60 ribbon. Saint's Row, IMO, was just a poor man's GTA with a script that sounded like some out-of-touch corporate suit's interpretation of what the streets sound like, or perhaps the fanfiction of some 13-year-old caucasian suburbanite (no hate intended, I'm caucasian and, at present, living in suburbia -- thank God, there's no glamor in the inner cities, believe that). It's also boring but at least they shipped a finished product, which is much more than one could say about Crackdown.

VERDICT: Get neither.
