Saw, the videogame?

Yep, so apparently there is a videogame being made about the horror series Saw. I'm actually a fan of the movies, but i think that this is a little ridiculous. It doesn't say what your going to be doing in the game, but the only thing i can think of is escaping traps, which doesn't really work because a big part of the movie is choice and life or death situations.

Your thoughts?

Every SAW movie after the 1st one sucked in comparsion(to the 1st one) and SAW IV is a huge disgrace to the franchise.

now that i think about it, you'll play as a cop. and it will be like the 4th movie, with decisions to save a person or let jigsaw's trap kill them, each decision effects the game's ending. might actually be a decent game if it's set up like that.JayQproductions

May I remind you again of Jumper: A Griffin's Story? The word "decent" is definately.. errr... optimistic?

The imagination of the game would be very creative, but the though of beating it would be a little tough .

Although I cannot judge the game yet since i've never played it .

I figure it'll be like Rollercoaster Tycoon, but instead of building rollercoasters, you build sadistic traps. You'll have all sorts of things available to you, like barbed wire, gasoline, broken glass, and so on, and you're scored on your ability to cause maximum pain and suffering before it's all over. Maybe as an Easter egg, you'll be able to just tie one of your victims to a chair and force him or her to watch all the Saw films. That's about the worst thing I can think of.Palantas

It could possibly work like GTA star police setup, in which as you kidnap more and more people your stars go up and you must escape from the police before they catch you. Just an idea. haha.

I bet it's going to be some 3rd person game stolen straight out of silent hill where you have to try and solve puzzles to get out of the "game."I'd rather be Jigsaw though, at least that coud possibly be fun.

Either way, I enjoyed Saw 1-2, 3-4 started to get bland but the theory of a game has a lot of potential. I just don't have faith in them doing it well.
