[QUOTE="michael098"]Oblivion...bolt2448wtf are you talking about!?
None. No game is really scary. Although, it's weird... RE4 was probably the least scary horror game, yet it scared me the most when I was checking something out, turned around and suddenly there was a dog right at my feet. And the weird thing is, that must have happened like 15 times too. :P
Other then that, the game isn't scary. But the gameplay makes up for it.
Silent Hill, the best and scariest horror games of all time. The fear digs deep into your soul and makes you think about yourself, and it stays engraved into you. Think about it, when you were playing a silent hill game, did you get depressed? If you did, that means that it reached you and brought out the dark side to you, now what other series does that. The characters are so real, they have problems, they are not perfect, like Maria in the 2nd one, she is supposed to be the sexy seductive type of scary but she has a flab of fat around her stomach.
Ok I am done with my rant.
RE is survival horror for wusses..... now Silent Hill.. that game rocks your very foundation of scary
Britaney's Dance Beat....totally horrifying.
On a serious note I would say Resident Evil would be up there on my list, right along side F.E.A.R for the PC.
even though i never played it my vote goes for silent hill FEAR was not scary though it did have its moments only thing that got me for real was when you went down the ladder and the lil ***** was right there and those damn invisible guys that only show up when your getting hit lol i didnt think they were real at first lol just thought they were another hallucination
Its looking unanimous, too me, Resident 1 & 2 were probably the most scarey games. But next to that would be Silent Hill for the PS1.
i thought that the beginning of Manhunt was pretty creepy. Also, when you fought Piggsy, don't even get me started. Scariest boss battle ever.meangoldfish

what's even more horrifying is that you actually played that game. silent hill and resident evil.
[QUOTE="julianwelton"]I'd have to say Clocktower Or Fatal FrameXxAK47xXomg the scissor man
shhhhh, shhhhh we dont speak his name it is unholy! and because still thinking about him gives me the heebies.
For the first time I have played Resident Evil I got scared as hell. I was 14 years maybe and remember when I was sleeping over at my friends house and when we played RE at night and my first encounter with the giant spiders made me scream so loud that his parents woke up HAHA. Doom 3 was pretty scary too :P.
But one game that noone seems to mention here is "Call of Cuthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth" Its a great game for Xbox1 with very creeping gameplay!
