[QUOTE="JeremyMGS"][QUOTE="nyc05"][QUOTE="JeremyMGS"][QUOTE="nyc05"]To the people who keep saying 9.1 and 9.6, please remember that Gamespot revised it's scoring system so that reviews for games only get scores in .5 increments, ie. 8.5, 9.0, 9.5.
As for the review, I'm torn between a guess of 9.0 and 9.5. I think the lack of multiplayer will probably keep the game from hitting 9.5, so I'm going to say 9.0.

Why does MP matter in a score???? Think about it...GS has given a couple games a perfect 10 and didn't have MP!
I didn't say that it affects my opinion about it, in fact I'm rather gald that there is no multiplayer because it lets the developers focus more on the single player. I was giving my opinion on Gamespot's review, not mine.
But to answer your question about multiplayer, it's simple really. Muliplayer provides longevity for a game. Some games suffer without good multiplayer, where as some games are not affected by it. Nobody likes dropping $60 for a game and being done in 6 or 8 hours like so many games these days. Mind you, I do not think BioShock falls into this category because it's supposed to be fairly long, plus it has 2 endings.
I see what you are saying. I am though you were one who falsl into the pool of 'no multiplayer games suck and do not able to achieve high scores.'
 Nope. In fact, I much prefer single player games to multiplayer games. I enjoy a good multiplayer game sometimes, but I would much rather kick back with BioShock, Oblivion, Mass Effect and similar games.
I am with you on that one!
