Haha! Some people don't know their gaming.
Actually, I have a similar story. Big Lots was advertising Gutiar Hero III: Legends Of Rock for only $20.00. I know right? And on top of that, it was the bundle with two guitars!
So I called 20 minutes before they open, and ask; "Hello there, and good morning! Do you happen to have a copy of Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock for Xbox 360 for the golden price of $19.99?" "The what?" "I'm sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. I'm looking for a game called Guitar Hero III for the Xbox 360." "Uhhh.....hold on...let me check.......ROXIE!! DO WE HAVE ANY OF THOSE GEE-TAR HE-ROWS? (In background: YEEEEAAAHHHHHHH) Yeah we do have some." "Umm....are you sure its GH III?" "Ughh....lemme check.....ROXIE!!!! IS IT THREE?" "IS WHAT THREE??" "THE GEE-TAR HE-ROWS!!" "OH!!!! I THINK...." "Yeah we have some." (I could perfectly hear "I think") "Do you think you could hold a copy of it for me?" "Yeah whatever." "Umm....okay. Thank you ma'am!" -she hangs up-
So as soon as I get to the store, (I was there 5 minutes before opening time) there was a small group of hobos, grandmas, and teenagers. "Oh great!" I thought to myself. We all rushed in as soon as they opened their doors. I rushed up to the lady behind the counter. "Quick, I reserved a copy of Guitar Hero III for (name), where is it?!?" I could almost immediately tell it was the lady I was talking to. "ROXIE?!?" "YEAHHHH??" "DO U HAVE THAT GEE-TAR HE-ROW III??" "O YEAH!" The "kind" lady brought up this huge box to the counter. She started to open it. I was so excited! Bloop! Out popped Guitar Hero IV: World Tour, labeled $100.00.
True Story.
