Hey, I just moved my Xbox 360 from my pretty small screen in my bedroom to the big HDTV in the living room, and I noticed something. When I'm playing a gam like Halo 3, Cod 4 or Gears of War, and I look around with my character, it doesnt seem as, well, i dont know how to explain it. It seesm a bit "slower" i guess you could say, and it doesnt seem like I can aim as well due to this when im playing. I'm wondering if its because I have to get used to playing on a bigger TV, or does changing TVs usually require you to change the sensitivity? Like in Halo 3, the sensitivity is at 3 (defualt), but on the big screen it didnt seem fast enough, so I changed it to 4, but that almost seemed too fast.. Can someone help me out here, anyone have a similar experience?

It may be linked to the response time of your TV. All LCD and Plasma televisions have a response time ranging from 2 to 25+ miliseconds, whereas as your average CRT SDTV doesn't have a response time at all.
It could be that your HDTV has quite a high response time meaning that there's a noticeable lag from when you press a button on the 360 pad, to when your character moves on screen. This could be the problem that you're experiencing.

Unfortunately it's not something that can be fixed - it's just one of your Television's specifications.
If you know the model of your television, you can always search it on the net and from there you should be able to find its response time pretty easily.
If it's 8 ms or over, the problem your experiencing is likely due to the response time of your television.

im pretty sure its because you moved to a widescreen tv, making your field of vision in the game bigger, so it feels like the sensitivity decreased

If your HDTV has a response time of 8ms or less than you cant even tell. If it has more, then I wouldnt know. I had an HDTV of 8ms and now I have one that is 4ms, and I could hardly tell the difference between those and an SDTV, CRT. Most HDTVs these days are 8ms or less anyways. Maybe you're just OCD. I know I can get really OCD with other stuff.

I've had a look and I can't find a site that tells you the response time either.
Maybe it is just the change to widescreen that you're finding hard to get used to.
