Just with these 2 games coming, 2009 is shaping up to be one the best years for videogaming.

SF4 is perhaps the most anticipated sequel of all time. I remember from so many years ago people just dreaming about how that game would turn out, and now here we are, almost finally there. From the gameplay videos I've seen as well as some gamer's impressions, I'm very eager to get my hands on the game. I know it's been out for a bit in the arcades but I decided to wait for the home version.

And RE5, well, the follow up to one of the best games ever created, has also been eagerly awaited by many gamers. It looks great and I'm glad the demo is coming out soon.

Anyways, those are just 2 games, I'm sure a lot more good stuff will come out like Halo Wars, but I'm already feeling 2009 will be one tough year to beat.

I'm also eagerly looking forward to play Street Fighter IV, I'm not much into Resident Evil since RE Code Veronica (I miss the good old zombies of yesteryear, and also miss fun things like the Jill vs. Nemesis mechanic). For me it would take something more beside SF4 -like Megaman Legends 3 or Dead or Alive 5 or a Capcom made Marvel Super Heroes- to make this gaming year a truly memorable one.

Also, a possibility that Diablo 3, Starcraft 2 and Final Fantasy XIII will come out this year. And this is only the beginning of the year and already those two great games are coming within the first half. The end of the year usually has a rush of great games too.

Major ups to Megaman Legends 3. If only.... I've recently played the Japanese demo of RE5 and I got to say it is amazing. Me and my friend played split-screen but the only problem wit Sheva is that she's left-handed and it seems really awkward playing backwards like that. But overall, its going to be one of the greatest games of the year. I'll be there front of the line on March 13.

I have to say that Capcom does have the best lineup this year. SFIV - RE5 and Bionic Commando = awesome.

Mostly stoked on SFIV though I can't wait.

Im not that excited for Street Fighter 4 for some reason :(

I loved Street Fighter when i was younger, but i just dont play fighting games all that much anymore.

As for RE5, that should be alot of fun. Although i still enjoy Resident Evil1 and 2 more then i did Resident Evil4. Coop on Resident Evil 5 sounds awesome!

I'm not that excited for either game. SF4 will mostly turn into simple spam one move or a few online and i've overall grown tired of fighting games. RE5 is a great action adventure game but i'd much rather play the older games those were epic. Sure the series did need to change but they could have at least added some zombies and kept some of the good old background story that i loved growing up.

Well I don't know how the rest of the year will turn out but I know Capcom is coming out the gate swinging. And there are a few other games that are coming early in the year that have my interest.
