Shadowrun - How in the wolrd can a MP only game NOT HAVE persistent rankings!?!?

I mean I'm not obsessed with rankings etc. online, but when a game is full price and only features multiplayer, the lack of persistent stat tracking is unaccesptable to me!

I was literally going to buy this game tonight but found out about this in a review yesterday and changed my mind!

Anyone else think this is just crazy!?!?

Yeh the game would be much better with a ranking system hopefully an update could bring one out or something, even so the game is still a lot of fun to play.ihateyou_right

I really hope they don't. Its fine how it is. Ranks would only make people get pissed at others, or start complaining "REZ ME REZ ME! IF YOU REZED ME WE COULD HAVE WON!!!111"  I suspect your thinking that people can play in player matches, but would achievements also be allowed in Player matches? If they did, I'd be up for it.

 They did this on purpose, it prevents **** talking and annoying rank whores... they are tracking all the stats.

thanks god for no rankings.... did golden eye need rankings to be fun? They should only release states for tournaments etc.... tournament support and rank tracking would be cool, but no historical tracking should be released.

Exactly... leaderboards and rankings often ruin game communities by leading way for cheaters, rank whores, etc...

The Shadowrun community is great right now... everyone likes to help each other for the team win.  For once I don't want leaderboards in the game.

+1 (looks at the gears or war community) Tracking stats, would destroy the team aspect of the game. If any stat was ever released, it should be wins and wins only, not kills etc.
