ok shadowrun came out a couple of days ago and i am very interested. but gamespot still hasnt' given a review of the game. so i don't know if i want to buy it. people who have played the game, what do u think of it? buy or rent?
this game is amazing, i personally like it more, b/c it creates a more team dynamic with the magic and tech, as oppse to games like Halo where its just run n gun with really no strategy, i do hope they create updates for it someday

If you have live its a must have game, ITs really about an hour learning curve. Onces you understand teh game it becomes a bles to play. What is really nice its and team oriented game, you really need to relie on your teammates and communicate with them. Once you play it you will understand what I am talking about.
Well, it requires an XBOX live account {multiplayer only}, so why would you get it if you don't have XBOX live? Get it AND get in the game with an XBOX live account.
The game itself is very well done, with very good balance. However, currently there are MAJOR networking issues.. it takes forever to join a game. However, once you connect to a good server, there is virtually no lag.

I don't expect a high score from GS though.. the guy who I think is reviewing it just did not look like he really understood the game, or enjoyed it, on the GS Live thingy yesterday.

For me though, I definitely like the game. It's fun, and it's way different than other shooters.
A very good game, and as to when the review comes out I can take a good guess. If you look at the 'on the SPOT' banner at the top of the screen there is a Shadowrun minion on the right and left side of the logo, so they may be doing the review on the SPOT.
i kno i was getting ready for a review but it never came so i just went with a gut instinct and bought it and as they say "ITS AMAZING!"Â i love the online so mush to do and tons of ways to kill, trap,and sneak up on enimies.
I'll chime in woth my thoughts thus far. I rented the game last night, so I don't have the "I paid $60 for the game so I feel obligated to defend my purchase" syndrome and I must say I am very intrigued by what the game has to offer. I've only completed 4 of the 6 training levels, but I am sold, the combinations of weapons and magic add an aspect to the gameplay that no other game can even try and compete with.Â
I just hope it all translates on Live as well as it does in training. I'll find out this weekend.Â

Don't speak when you don't know what you're talking about.  IT does have MP, but it's just bots.  But it's still MP.  Its like
It's a great game. The couple of hours I had the other day to play online was a blast, especially if you happen upon a room with a team that uses some good stategy and teamwork. Like someone said earlier it takes about an hour to an hour and a half to get through the training but it was well worth it. I can see this game taking up a lot of my free time - which I don't have that much of as it is.
