Shall I unplug my 360 S after use?

Hey.

I was just wondering if I need to unplug my new 360 S after use to prevent heat or power consuming. Is it necessary or shall I just leave it in standby?

I plug it out just in case and thats something i never did withmy xbox 360. Besides you may accidently turn it on when plugging in something else to your tv or something as its touch sensative and you never want to be constantly turning on and off your 360 in short periods of time as thats not good for it.

plug it into a bar so you can turn the bar off easily along with everything else. Consoles in general running on stand by cost 64 bucks extra a year in electricity. Thats only with an xbox. Running a ps3 on standby costs the same as running a fridge. when i found this out i quickly bought a buzz bar to easily shut all things off

Thats good info. I knew someone that had there xbox fried during an electric storm. thats another reason why I unplug it

if you in fear for thew world.... Yes everything consumes power even if it off. because power still goes in out. but assumes less. newwer techolgy are starting to have tech that cuts power 100% off when it's turn off but thius isn't the case with the xbox
