Man me and my freinds love to Gears vids for GameSpot which will be realsed once my dump friend gets around to editing them. So one day we were doing this and the camera runs dead and were like ok we got alot of good fotage so we just started playing regular and the map come to Canals were like Dang I love this map and the other team is crying cause they're doing so good and its not ranked and the match starts and I end up killing everyone with my lance I Was DANGIT WHY!?!?!does the camera just run out of batteries it sucked so much- -XboxLive360 tag-iNFAMUS sPARTAN- -Is it just me...or is the shotgun to powerful?-
Shotgun is definatly powerful at close range but not from afar, i love to use it on wretches. Once when i was playing on co-op i was going thru on hardcore to get the achievements and when i got to the end it didnt give me it. I looked at the chapter select and it said that i hadnt done it at all (even on casual) on act 1 to 3 i had done most of those on insane too. I decided to look for the COG tags and then realised that it had set my COG tags to zero and i had like 18. Later on i completed it on hardcore collected all the COG tags and am ready to take on insane, once ive gone thru as dom.
Single player is great, coop is great but thats were it ends for me.. The online IMO is dreadful.. I don't like being forced to play team based games.. Normally I don't have a problem with it, but when everyone is just out for themselves, chainsawing, and shotguning, it just makes for a mindless crap fest.. No online features or modes, everyone stealing your kills, naaaaa I'll do without.. Love everything else though!
I love it, but there a few fatal flaws which really need to be fixed. Melee is one. Numerous times i've been downed by somebody striking me while i rolled away, way, way out of their reach. Also, when you're downed, i can be frag tagged and blow up RIGHT NEXT TO YOU but you live and i die. What's up with that? Just fix the problems.
yesterday i used my 48 hour trial code. only one round i killed everyone on the other team.
here is how it went. (gridlock was the map) i grabbed the boomshot shot 2 of them dead with one bullet. took out my shotty and blew the other guys to bits. i was the only person left on my team. it was awesome
