I'm not gonna get it until I beat the game.nicknees93ive got it on the expansion disc and im far from beating the game, feels like i have loads to do after playing for about 70-80 hours but ive installed the expansion pack and its definetally worth getting even if u still have stuff to do on oblivion i love oblivion but it does seem like alot of the game is very similar after u been playing for hours and hours - people and locations looking very similar, but shiving isles takes you to a whole new map through a gate, theys loads of new enemys, all the places look very different. and when i play the missions it does feel better. but what i do is when im done in working on the normal oblivion map and after a change ill pop down to the shivering ilses gate and go work on the shivering ilses quests, feels a bit like a new world in the game and id suggest maybe trying to find a copy of the GOTY edition to rent out/borrow to install it, or buy the shivering ilses expansion disc for cheap and install it and take it back to the shop the next day as a unwanted gift say ur mum got it for u for ur birthday and u dont even have the game for it and most shops will let u spend the money on something else in the shop and its already cheap. theys ways to get this add on without paying much or anything at all, and if u can do one then its well worth getting no matter how far into the main game you are. but the ilses is a refreshing add on to oblivion and more games should take example and bring out dlc on the same scale. i hope gta iv does something comparable to shiv ilses, and i hope another obliv game comes out (i know about FO3) or they maybe even just bring out 1 more huge expansion for it.
