Im on the look out for a shooter whos community is known for communication and functioning as a team. Ive been playing alot of COD latly and though communication greatly helps in that game, the two year olds have problems understanding what i mean. Ive played BF3 and it lacks communication as well.

Its really hit and miss in BF3, and the other Battlefield games in general. If you get with a group that has mics, I recommend partying up with them so that you stay in games with them.

I found a good group to play with in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, but again it was normally hit and miss. I just got lucky, found a good group, and ended up joining a party with them.

CoD, unfortunately, is the ONLY game where players consistently use their headsets. However, they use them for all the wrong reasons.

If you're just playing pickup games with randoms, it's a roll of the dice regardless of the game. I think you're time would be better spent if you just built up your friends list.

This or join a clan. Even the most team-oriented games have sh!t communication among players because they're randoms and don't really care.

It's hard to really pinpoint a game where the inline community is really active with their mics and talking strategy. My suggestion is to find a gaming community (you could even find some people here) who are into playing that kind of style and party up with them. Playing CoD matchmaking or even Halo is always hit or miss. Sometimes you find some good players, but mostly people just use their microphones to argue and curse, unfortunatly.

Personally I would just find the game your interested in playing on this site and use the forums for that particular game advertising the fact that your seeking individuals like yourself, either that or go onto the actual game sites (example.. 'Halo' Bungie's site) and use the forums on their sites once again advertising the fact that your seeking like minded gamers

Its not the game, it just depends on the people playing. Battlefield 3, Rainbow Six Vegas 1/2, Ghost Recon Future Soldier All those games have amazing teamwork, if you can actually get into a team like that.

I really haven't found a game that people really communicate well...it seem ever since the Party chat was made, most people don't talk in the game anymore....Its very rare that I put my headset on because I can't hear anyone talking

You'll get a lot more people using headsets in CoD games. If you want to avoid the youngins, try to play late at night on a schoolnight since it's their bedtimes lol. It's all hit or miss though. If you want serious and cooperative play, you'll have to go into a party chat with your own group. I recommend asking around the forums here for some people who want to play specific games. I'm sure there are plenty who would love to play with an actual team.

I have found that Tom Clancy games have the most people using headsets and communicating. Unfortunately the best ones have (essentially) dead communities.

Do people still play RSV on the 360??

Great games, but do they have an active online community?

Battlefield 3 is only once in a blue moon. Heck even when my squad mates stay around me and don't communicate matches tend to go well.

Yo dude, Just saw your post about communication in shooters. I have the exact same problem. Registered on here to ask the same question. I play BF3 with all DLC. Add me on Xbox if you ever fancy a game GT: Tomquantaz

The only games on the 360 I played where random people were working together were the older Ghost Recon games.

Plenty of people play Rainbow Six Vegas 2 online, and it's great fun. Most people talk and use communication, games can get very tense. The only time its hard to find a game if its Wednesday at 3am. Weird times like that it will be hard to find good games. All other times, its perfectly fine.
