well in fps i'd say call of duty 4 beats time shift coz of the awesome singel player even thought it's short and lots of fun in multiplayer leveling and all that it's just great if your into fps and online i'd say call of duty 4.. in the other hand mass effect is 3rd person shooter / rpg which i haven't really had the chance to play much but if your up to some thing new or u love rpg and 3rd person shooters .. i'd say go for mass effect and one last thing go check the video review and choose.
I would say COD4 for alot of reasons......The campain mode is so addicting!!! The game is so intense i can not put down the controller!!! And the multiplayer onlinerapes halo any day!!!! Best FPS i ever played!!!
Timeshift- I played the demo and I didnt care for it. The graphics are lame, and I didnt like the gameplay
Mass Effect- This game is absolutely amazing. Its the best single player game for Xbox 360. A long game, with branching storylines make this GOTY for me.
Call of Duty 4- Great single player but too short, ohwell, quality over quantity and this game delivers. Fantastic MP, best MP on any system right now.
Overall go with Mass Effect but get CoD4 as soon as you can.
