Download the demo, if the item collection and character development appeal to you, I would consider getting it. It has flaws, but people that are enjoying it, are looking past them for the fun of the rest of the game.

reviews are opinions afterall. There are plenty of games that have had poor reviews but I enjoyed, don't trust reviews so much.
Thank you! for once someone doesnt think some dude on a website rating a game is the word of god. Play games and enjoy them, write your own review if you feel so inclined. If going for a purchase, yeah do some research on reviews to get an idea, but don't take someone elses opinion as truth, if someone told you that heroin was the best thing ever.. would you go buy some ?
