should I download mass effect?

I haven't researched it, is there more DLC packed in with the 20 dollar Platinum Edition? Or should I just plop down the 20 and DL it from XBL? Always good to get a second opinion before trusting M$, especially with such a new service.

Just get it used and save some money/HDD space.

I don't think the DLC comes with the Platinum Edition but I'd still buy it in stores. There's only one DLC out right now anyways, and only one more on the way.Ghost_Warrior

depends how much you are willing to pay, the game imo is one of the if not the greatest game of the current gen but if your getting screwed like us australians are then buy it retail (it is $99.95 which is the equivalent of a brand spanking new game of the shelf)

Buy the recently released 2-disc special edition, don't bother with the On demand version. The 2-disc version is twenty dollars and it comes with the DLC a free premium theme and more.

Yeah, the Platinum Edition includes Bring Down the Sky. Just comes as a second disc with some other extras like themes, gamer pics, etc. It is a good deal! I say do not download anything of value, I would much rather have a hard copy!

depends really. to be honest I thought mass effect was bloody boring so I wouldnt get it.

I might also get it off of Games on Demand... But the problem is I won't be able to return it if I don't like it.. and I'm inbetween ME and Oblivion.. and I loved oblivion.
