Should i get one?

i already have the PS3 and am considering getting the Elite at the end of the month but is it worth it right now or should i just stick with my PS3 for now?

absolutley.

if you are a true gamer and have the money, then of course you should get it, it's going to have exclusives that the PS3 won't have, and of course vice versa, but it's definitely worth it, plus with xbox live, most of your games will never get dull, to this day I still play Oblivion and it's over a year old.SmoothBrother1

yeah i really wanna play/get gears and right now thats my main attraction to it plus right now multiplatform games are running better on the 360 (with the aception of Oblivion) so yeah more then likely ill end up gettin the Elite at the end of the month

i have both systems and atm you can't compare the two "game wise"...the 360 premium is great and if you can get the elite...so much the better !

see the thing is R6V, Graw 2 are comming to the PS3 and id rather get them for PS3 because all my real friends are getting them on the PS3 so yeah thats wht kinda stops me from getting a 360

I would caution you to seriously consider purchasing the 360. Of course, when it's working it's a fantastic system. And, as someone else has stated there is the issue of exlusive games.

 That being said, the 360 as built quite a reputaiton for being unreliable and breaking down. Do your own research if you don't believe me and check it out for yourself. There are many people out there on their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Xbox 360. I myself an currently waiting to recieve my package from Microsoft to send them my 360 for repairs.

I know it's just one opinion, but as soon as I have mine back (or the refurbished one their going to send me) I'm selling it along with the HD and the 12 games I have for it, and I'm purchasing a PS3.

BTW, how long have you had the PS3, and have you had any problems with it or have heard from others who have had their PS3 just "Die" the way the 360's do.........

ive had it since launch and have had it running for 4 days straight once (between downloading all the demos, watching blue-ray movies, and playing games, plus now the folding at home) and have had adsolutely no problems with it what so ever. althought in the games department it is kinda lacking other then that it is an Extreamly well built and reliable console i have also NEVER heard of any problems with other PS3 owners or my friends that have them

the only issue that ppl have come across in the 1080i issue (if u have a 1080i TV with no 720p support then games will be scaled to 480p)

only question remains is what game to get (i was thinking gears but i wont be signing up for LIVE right away as all my friends are playing PS3 right now) and what acessories is the charge and play the only thing i need?

would Dead Rising be a good choice?

im more into shooters then anything else but that game looks interesting

also how is crackdown i heard its prety repetative and boring i was also thinking of Lost Planet as ive played the demo at future shop and it was pretty fun

if u already have a PS3...I'd say stick wit that. I am not dissing the 360(I own one) but supporting two systems at the same time is pretty hard also hard for me. so if u got money to burn then nobodys stopping u

PS. if u neva have a PS3 I would highly reccomend a 360(in my perspective is the best system at the moment)

Plus within a few years a majority of 'exclusive' games for the PS3 will go to the 360 (look at DMC4) and so would save in the long run. However since you already have a PS3 that wouldnt apply to you i guess :P

i think saints row was pretty good i am at 23% completion and i have alot of fun with it :)

it needs mortocycles and stuff tho
