Should I get an Elite or a Pro Jasper?

I've decided to buy a new 360 and I'm trying to decide between an Elite (which may or may not be a Jasper) or a Pro which I know is Jasper.

Anyway, I'm in Australia, so there's probably less chance of the Elites being Jasper. But my local retailer has a slae on and the Elite is only $50 more than the Pro.

Should I just get the Elite seeing it has the bigger HDD and the HDMI cables or are there any quality/reliability issues I should be wary of?

I've had three 360s before (launch models) so I'm a bit conscious of reliability.

Any advice would be appreciated.

i would say that it all depends on what ur going to be doing with a big hard drive. i would say get the 60gig one if u won't be downloading a lot of things. i have a 20gig i still have a lot of memory on it.

If your Elite comes with the Fable 2 +Halo 3 bundle than go for that, if not pro wouldn't be a bad call.

I love my Elite, the black matte finish sold it for me. Also 120 GB may seem like overkill but once you start installin games, downloading demos, and possibly downloading full games (new feature coming out soon), your HHD's gonna fill up quick. I'd go with the Elite, it's so sexy.

Is the black finish any good? There seems to be a lot of difference between the nice studio shots and people's own happy snaps.

As for use, probably just downloading games to the HDD and then some Originals I can redownload from my old account.

So it seems people here are leaning more towards a Pro Jasper if the Elite doesn't have the 12.1A on it?

Buy the jaspers just because:

Uses less electricity

Does less noise then the other XBox's

You wont get the Red ring of death ( i havent , and i have this jasper since it came out. I use it alot too)

Buy the HDD sold seperately.

Black Finish is just like the PS2's, it's nice and simple. I gotta tell you though the green shine off the console and controller look so much better than the white console lol. To be honest Jasper or not the newer 360s are a little more stable (not as much as Jaspers but still). Don't fret over RROD, if it happens it happens. I use to piss my pants that my Elite was going to RROD (got it Feb 09) but now I could care less. Not going to let some hardware failure ruin my gaming experience, hell my first PS2 suffered DRE =/
