Is their any point other then the bigger harddrive to get a Xbox 360 Elite, if I don't own a hdtv?luggymeister
if you have a 360 already, get an HDTV. if you don't then get the elite and enjoy until you can get a HDTV. I have two systems, one on an HDTV and one to an SD tv. obviously the HDTV is the preferred way to play, but it all looks fine on SD, you will live, hehe.
if you already have a 360 it doesn't matter if you get the elite, the elite is the same console, just black and with a bigger hard drive. also it won't work if you take it back and tell them you broke it, they plug in the system and try it when you bring it in.bazanger
I think it depends on the bestbuy. They might do something like that to me. The employee their said they take it back no questions asked and they'll give you an instore replacement while you'r their. Their all liars so I don't really trust them lol.

that's what they told me when i bought the warranty as well. what they mean though is that it's no questions asked about how it broke, but i can almost guarantee they check every 360. when my first 360 broke i took it back to best buy and they didn't ask anything about what happened, they just told me they would have someone come and hook it up to a tv to test it before they accepted it.Please Log In to post.
