If you are trading in games you dont like for it and dont have to pay $60, then its definetly worth it.

I just got Mass Effect the other day and it's incredible. I would really reccommend that for a great SP experience.

Ah so your into flashy, shallow, i'm going to blow everything up and kill everyone types of shooters with stories that are only there to give you an excuse to kill things, and your not a depth fan.

That's not really my cup of tea for SP. So i can't really help you. I only really like those kinds of shooters for onlin.

But i've heard that The Darkness has a pretty good SP. And i've read that BF:BC's SP is pretty good but when you die there isn't really a penalty so the game ushers you through the Campaign pretty quickly.

To my knowledge you don't need an EA account to play online but anyway no just rent it if you can't play online.

I would say no, don't get bad company for single player. It's just not as fun as the online and not as cool as COD4 single player.

It is a short campaign. Not sure how long but definitely under 10 hours. It was very fun though.

p.s. you dont need an EA account to play online. thats just to view in depth status online.

I think that you should get Battlefield bad company if you have xbox live because you can do Gold Rush.

Do not get Bad Company for the SP campaign - the AI is shockingly bad, plot sucks and you will regret the purchase.

Not to bum you out, but if you're going to GameStop (unless they're very generous where you live), you will NOT get anything close to what you're trying to sell those games for, which is why I never, ever trade in stuff. My brother sold back Fallout 3 less than a year from it's release and got back $15. The titles you've listed aren't exactly recent; you might be lucky to get $30 for all of them. You may as well keep them in case you get an itch to play something old again.

On the plus side, Bad Company is only like $20.

Bad Company was a thoroughly enjoyable single player experience and definitely made me laugh more than a few times. Definitely try to figure out what's wrong with your EA account because its also a ton of fun to play MP online. I think its one of the more fun online experiences I've had this generation, mostly when playing in a squad with 3 other friends and we just talk, have fun and try to blow stuff up.

Just rent it. The campaign was really fun, but it's so short that you'll be ready to trade it in less than a week if you don't plan on playing online. Save your moolah for Bad Company 2, which looks AMAZING.

Yeah that's what I got out of his posts. I also couldn't help too much either see how most of the SP for FPS suck and people are just there for the online.

TC is confused lol...he wants a good SP FPS to play offline with, but somebody recommends Bioshock, TC says it sucks and he would rather play BF:BC which is a multiplayer game for the most part.:P

I don't play multiplayer on my 360 at all (the only online multiplayer games I've played in the last 5-10 years are Half-Life 2 deathmatch and Counter Strike Source, which I'm terrible at...), and I thoroughly enjoyed the single player campaign of Bad Company. It was a ton of fun, and I liked the collectable element to it. The way the maps slowly expanded during a mission made it somewhat linear, but once it opened up there were a couple of different ways of approaching an objective. It is a bit short, but I thought it was more than entertaining enough to warrant a second playthrough (which I won't get to for a while, what with about 14 games I have that are yet to be played/finished). Plus, as previously mentioned, the other characters are entertaining...

Already been said but you don't need an EA account. Also agree that the single player is obviously an afterthought, and IMO, the multiplayer is pure.gaming.bliss.

Yea, you definately do not need an EA account to play BF:BC online. But If I were you, I would sell those games you're going to trade in on Ebay and more than likely get more than Gamestop would ever give you! Use the extra money to buy a better game that you like and will keep you entertained longer w/online multiplayer!

BF Bad Company is less than $20 used, so I'd say go for it.

There is no way you are getting that much money for those games you'd be lucky to walk of there without $20 It is a great single player game But if you're looking for Online Play get the Modern Warfare Series and keep Halo and You should Be able to get an account unless you're too young and i don't even think you need one I think you only need an account for EA Sports games like Madden, Fifa ,Nba Live,Etc.

Your looking for a Single Player only game & Battlefield Bad Company is at the top of your list? Don't get me wrong the campaign is very enjoyable, but it's not going to last you that long. For a great single player experience look into these games:

  1. Fallout 3.
  2. Mass Effect.
  3. Bioshock.
  4. The Darkness.
  5. Batman Arkum Asylum.
  6. Grand Theft Auto IV.
  7. Oblivion.
  8. Fable II.
