I have 60 bucks so my question is should I get bioshock now or wait till halo3 gets released and preorder that?? What do you think?? Oh and I probaly wont be able to get both.
Oh tuff choice. I'd say if you enjoyed playing halo for multiplayer get Halo 3. If you enjoyed Single Player on Halo get Bioshock. Ultimetly if possible get both b/c they are both awesome games. Or you can even rent Bioshock and get Halo 3 if you are hardcore enough to beat Bioshock within a week lmao.
I don't care for multiplayer. From a single player POV, halo 3 is more of the same and bioshock is original. Easy choice for me: bioshockdgbiker1
why do people already assume they know what halo3's single player is gonna be like? of course it will still be halo, but i think it's gonna be a pretty epic experience

Anyone that has played and enjoyed the campaign in Halo and Halo 2 should not need to ask this question as the answer is obvious. If you want multiplayer to extend the life of the game the answer is obvious. But if you want a game right now then the answer is obvious. Either way you are getting a great game.
Why don't you just rent Bioshock if money is really an issue??
Why does some people need the general public to make up their minds for them? If I were you, I would get BioShock now... it's an awesome game. After you buy that, you will have plenty of time (appx. 1 month) to save up for Halo 3.
Halo 3 for multiplayer, replayability,definitely. Bioshock is starting to sound like a rent-and-marvel game for me personally. Unless of course, you don't have Xbox Live, then just get Bioshock :D

besides bioshock sucks the story is only 8hrs long
Dont get me wrong bioshock is a good game but go with Halo 3 for sure. You'll be able to play halo LONG after u complete the campaign and bioshock is only a campaign and no online modes. Halo 3 has more people that play it too. HALO 3!!
I personally flew through Bioshock easily in the 20 hour estimate. Roughly a day worth of playing time...but then again almost every FPS aside from Far Cry has been that way. If you want a truely spectacular game that you will leave you wanting to play it over and over again just because of it's pure awesomeness...then Bioshock is the one.
I myself have never been a huge fan of Halo though. Played the first, never the second...most likely a rental or borrow for myself. It's going to be more of the same ol' which is really a tad obvious. There is only so much you can do with a title when you make multiple games in the series. Sure the graphics will be better and your "Finishing the Fight! w00!" but meh...I would go for Bioshock. It's one of the few games where I have actually fallen in love with the atmosphere and simply wandered around Rapture.
its kind of what you want. i know it sucks having to choose, because they both have their merits. while Bioshock isn't nearly as replayable as Halo 3, it is AWESOME. i'm officially addicted. meditate and soul-search, and i'm sure you'll come to the right decision.:D
That's a really tough chose. Sense I don't know how the single player campaign would be in Halo 3 I can't really choose which game have a better campaign. If you're looking for a long lasting game then choose Halo 3.
I rented Bioshock and I should finish it tommorrow(3rd day)... Its amazing Ill buy it when its cheaper just to have in my collection but Ill beat it both ways before I bring it back(14 day Blockbuster rental)...I actually bought MAdden over Bioshock and Im happy even though Bioshock is one of the best games I have ever played, nothing beats having a football games during the season..
I think Halo SUCKS,but I won't get into details as to why I think that, get bioshock, you want multiplayer? get R6...but if you liked the first 2 halo games than I can't stop you and would recommend halo 3.
If you cant get enough money for Halo 3 on time.Then save the money.Regardless how much i like Bioshock.I must say just rent Bioshock and get Halo 3,Come'on its HALO.
