should i get cod 4 or cod 5?

i never played cod 4 before or any cod game. but how come cod 5 gets a lower grade than 4. should i get 4 or 5

do people still play cod 4? right now most my friends in school are playing cod 5. and my other friends are planning on getting cod 5 at christmas so i might get that game too. the only reason why it looks like cod 5 got lower grade is because people said they alrady played this game but for me i never played it so maybe i have no problem. 

yes people do still play cod 4. if it was me i would get them both as they are both good games. but if you could only get one i would go for cod 4 & get used to that then move onto cod world at war.

get cod4, multiplayer is way better. better guns(by a landslide),maps,animations,rpg,graphics,air strike,helicopter,sounds. Waw is good but i felt like i was taking a step backwards when i played it. the guns feel so cheap,animations look so unrealistic,and dogs are so overrated and glitchy. the sound is horrid and maps aint much to talk about. plus dont worry cod4 will be going strong till cod 6 comes out. Waw single player was okay but if youre like me u probably wont play much after u beat it. so in the end cod4 is the game to get.

Couldn't tell you personally, but going by what the majority of my friends say I suggest COD 4.  I didn't really care enough to ask them why, but I do believe its just as the feller said above, due to the fact COD 4 uses modern weaponary.

Definately COD4.

I would pick CoD 4. Then again I hate WW2 shooters.

Don't get either, just wait for Modern Warfare 2 that comes out November 10, 2009

I had world at war, but my friend came over and kicked my xbox in his sleep while it was on and scratched the disc. I currently play Cod4. I think that if you are getting a game for co-op and single missions World at War is the best out of the two by a really long shot. But, if you are more interested in LIVE. COD4 is what you need. It is a all around great xbox LIVE game. That's all I play. I think it is better than Halo 3......Take that Halo worshipers :P
