I'm going to get one for xmas and get the other now or when it comes out. Should I get fallout 3 now or just wait until Gears 2? Fallout 3 looks amazing and I loved oblivion but Gears 2 also looks great. Help me decide

I will get both but Gears of War 2 will be a better game to get first, best value

I would purchase Fallout now and get Gears for christmas. Fallout will last you much, much longer honestly. It' such a good game.
