it never was, gears is a terrible game. the single player isn't even fun. and multiplayer is just glitched like none other, you have to estimate tthe lag and try to shoot along with it. 1/10 game, don't bother.
I agree with paullywog. The MP is extremely broken right now. You never know if your shotgun will take 1 or 3 shots to kill someone. The first month it was out before the updates, it was awesome though.
Yeah i'd say get it. It's definatly a good buy, the SP is relatively short but the MP is great. IMO it's better then most other Shooter MP's, but in the end the moneys yours aswell as the decision.
Gears of war is a great game especially since the price is now significantly lower prob. Anyway, single player is really good and entertaining. Prob topfive single players games in my opinion. Multiplayer is good but the lagging sucks sometimes but the maps are very fun.
Yes, Gears is fun. Mulitplayer hasn't been the same for some time now, but I am naive enough to believe they are working on fixing it. The campaign mode is fun, the characters are great, and you can probably get it for cheap. Well, cheaper that $60.
Yes!!!It is a must.The single player alone is worth it.The Multiplayer was just an add on asthe makersadmit.However the multiplayer was fun when I played but I have not played in a long time.
at first i didnt like gears of war. I had played some of it with my brother and thought that it was just a crappy shooter with good graphics, but after i bought my brothers 360 and sat down and played the game alone things changed. its pretty much the only online MP game i play and the single player is so fun. SP is short but if you play on a harder mode it wont seem that way. on insane it seemed to take forever to beat.
It's still a good game. It always will be. It doesn't have the deepest/best story, but it has one that fits the simple characters and makes it fun. The MP, well I don't even have Live, but what I played with my friends is fun for a bit. It's still a great game to get. Pick it up.
well i just got it, and the gameplay is alright, but the graphic is awesome. haven't try the multiplayer yet, so i'm not sure. last time i play the multi, i was lagging, i thought it might because my conection, so i just turn it off. get it while u still can bra
Get it. Its not the best game out there but it truly is fun..(expecially when your host :P) But the only downside is the online community is way to aggressive. What i mean by that is they take the game wayy to seriously. Me and my friend where playing these douche bags that were saying how GEARS is the best shooting game ever made... its just rediculus on how seriously some people can take gears of war.
