Should I get Mass Effect or Fallout 3?

I want a meaty RPG to get my teeth into, either Mass Effect or Fallout 3.

I can't get both because they take up too much time so whichever one I get I'm going to need it to be good.

Looking for a good story mainly but also enjoyable gameplay.

Been looking at reviews and they both look good and have good stories.

I am leaning more toward Fallout 3 at the mo because the new exansion pack looks good.

So if you've played both which did you enjoy the most?

how much long you think this thread will stay open before it gets locked?

if ur looking more towards the story then Mass Effect should be your pick. Fallout 3's story is mediocre at best

Mass Effect has the best story of any game this gen, imo. However, Fallout has the better gameplay and offer more content to explore. You won't go wrong with either, but my favorite is Fallout. I have played it twice as long as I played Mass Effect. Mass Effect is about 60 hours whereas Fallout could be about 130 hours.

Get Mass Effect. Bethesda games have gone down the tubes. Fallout 3 was the death of the Fallout name. Fallout 1 and 2 are better choices.

mass effect is only around 10$

but fallout3 is my fav game so i'll go with that
