Should I get my 360 off ebay?

I'm looking to get a 360, and I was looking on ebay, and saw some incredible deals, but i'm wondering if it would be "safe" to get if off of ebay. And also, is the elite worth it?

Probably not, try Amazon or play.com. They usually have good deals and are pretty reliable.

The amount of times I've seen people say, "These refurbished 360's RROD...when I get mine back from the service centre I think I'll put it on ebay..."

It would not be wise, I'll put it that way.

I got mine from Ebay and its fine. Most people that say don't use Ebay have never been on it, i go on it all the time! I buy my games off of Ebay from a seller in Hong Kong that sells region free games half price. Check the sellers feedback score and if in the description he sounds genuwine then go ahead with the deal.

I probably wouldn't because if they don't pack it well, who knows what'll happen to the console on the way to you.

I've had 7 years experience with ebay. Nothing can change the fact that the anonymity of the internet = never can be too cautious. Ebay is the perfect place to get rid of a refurbished or known to be 'dodgy' system. When it fails 2 months down the line, the seller will just say "Well, if it was faulty, it wouldn't have worked out the box. That's very unfortunate but there's nothing I can do".

With a device such as the 360, as unreliable as everyone knows, you shouldn't take the chance.

Spend the extra 50 bucks and go to amazon.com. I got mine off of Ebay and i got the RROD.

Not saying they all do, but dont take the chance.
