I know its a great game but i was planning to get fallout 3. Since their basiclly almost the same should i wait for fallout 3 or get oblivion anyway. My friend has oblivion and i can get it from him but...i want your opinions please
It's a fantastic game... every day there is one or two threads asking a question about oblivion on this board, that really speaks to how good the game is since it's still talked about and it's about 1.5 years old now.
I agree with everyone, it's great a thousand times over. i don't know anyone personally that has played it that does'nt like it. so, get it yesterday!!!!!

Even though we have never met in person, let me introduce myself. I'm a gamer. And after playing Oblivion for about 2 - 3 hours i was ready to throw it out the window just to see if it would be more fun than that game. Now you know somebody who didnt like it, congrats.

If you like RPGs you owe it yourself to pick up Oblivion, which is imo the greatest RPG ever created. Also, if you want to be good at Fallout 3 it may help you to familiarize yourself with Bethesda's games. Not that you have to, of course, it would just help.
but if u have a PS3, get that version instead of the 360, no offence 360'ers, but the PS3 version is a tad bit better. the knights of the nine quest are included, and the quest itself is awsome!
