I've had Xbox 360 arcade for awhile and it's a piece of junk by now. You know, it forgets when i save things, it doesnt always read disks. I have the "Core" systemfrom the 1st year Xbox 360 came out. And i want to upgrade, i don't need the 120G that the Elite has but i have been told it performs better. I dont careabout the HD and stuff i just want to know. Should i get the Xbox 360 PRO or Elite? I play everyday for a couple hours at a time sometimes, and i just want the system that works fine without having to be sent to be fixed every 2-4 months you know? Can someone PLEASE help me?

The only real difference between versions is the size of the hard drive it comes with. The actual system itself is identical in any version.

I think hard drive space is the only real difference unless I'm mistaken. So it's really $300 60GB vs $400 120GB. I think the Pro would be better value.
