my xbox 360 is laying down horizontally i think it is less likely to break or scratch disks if laying down.

do u think it is better or it doesn't matter?

horizontal = less chance of a disk gettign scratced, more ventilation, and less chance of it falling over

It doesn't matter as much as people say. First do what looks best. Then the horizontal has no chance of falling over so that is the advantage. I've had both and no problems with either.

there is a vent on the bottom that has more breathing room if it's horizoltal.

You could always be Avant-Garde and tape it to the ceiling.

i find standing it vertically causes more heat to come out of the fan than when i used to have it horizontally. if u stand it up feel the left side of the console(bottom when flat) when ur playing and ask urself after feeling that heat that u would want to put it horizontally. vertical has better ventilation and it does not scratch disks unless u move it while its running.
