I am unsure about this purchase.

I already have PS4 and have committed myself to the system. I see so many reasons to side with Sony this time around.

There is a chance that I'd prefer the XB1 though still. I don't see me needing 2 consoles but the Titanfall bundle was too good for me to pass up> I'm not really into exclusives. The one exclusive I'd like to get is MLB The Show which is part of the reason I sided with PS4.

I enjoy PS4 but lately my wrist has been really bothering me and I'm wondering if it's the controller. I think it was more likely something I lifted though because I haven't even gamed that much.

I was thinking of keeping XB1 just in case or for Kinect games, but I feel like that may be a waste.

I don't want to pay for 2 gaming subscriptions either so that's another reason I want one or the other. Just seems like it may not be worth it right now but it is a nice deal and I'd maybe want to give it a try. Hmmm. It's just sitting here in the shipping box and I can't quite decide. Part of me says open it and part of me says all I need is the PS4 that I have. Still would regret if if I think I'd prefer the other. I really doubt my wrist is being bothered by the controller though. I heard XB1 had a real nice controller so I was curious to try it but prob not worth it. hm

That's a tough call but I understand the part about not wanting two subscriptions. I wouldn't think the ps4 controller is hurting your wrist though. We also had a 360 for a long time, and I was torn on the next system upgrade, knowing that the ps4 is just selling like hotcakes and putting out better quality graphics in the multi-platform games, but I decided to get the Titanfall bundle when it dropped in price. One good thing about having the 360 and xbox one is just going back and forth between systems while keeping the same xbox live service. I agree that the kinect is a waste as far as gaming, but I think it will be a good thing for people who like to stream or use voice commands.

I don't see myself using or even my kids playing kinect games with the next gen system. We have the kinect on the 360 and they only played a couple things with it. They are 12 and 9 now, and they don't even bother with the kinect anymore. Titanfall is a fun game, but if you're having fun with the ps4, maybe think about getting the Titanfall 360 version if you have one or the pc version. It is a nice deal if you picked it up for 450, but these systems will be around a long time so you will always have the chance down the road to pick up a xbox one and a used copy of Titanfall. There may even be some other games to try as well.

Have fun gaming!

Honestly I think you should keep the Xbox One. Sure on paper you might prefer the PS4, but when some of the big hitting exclusives are released for the One you'll wish you could play them. You say you can't pay for two subscriptions and that's fair enough, but let me tell you don't need to, I was playing my PS4 and Xbox One since launch without having an online subscription, only a few weeks ago did I buy PSN/XBL for them. It won't be a problem unless you're a big online gamer.

At the end of the day this is the Xbox forum, so of course people will tell you what you want to hear. Honestly though I think you should listen, especially when Microsoft starts releasing those jaw-dropping exclusives and who knows, it might just be that one game that grabs your attention. Plus the Kinect will only get better with time so you'll really regret getting rid of it. I say try make room for it, I think both consoles are worth every penny and you should think about the future and the benefits it'll bring. You don't want to be that guy kicking himself for selling it and besides you already own it.

But if you really think you can't keep it, and if you believe its the right decision to send it back I say do it. Do what will make you happy, I mean you could always pick one up again in the future for a sweet price, plus more games will be out by then too.

I think you should keep it. Im kind of in the same boat. I got the ps4, and fairly committed (got 6 games now). While I love the ds4, I miss the xbox controller, just a more comfortable controller for me and most of my friends went with x1 though Id be diffrent this gen. I plan on getting the x1 eventually, even trying to win one at work.It would be nice to be able to play both systems exclusives though.

It really depends on other factors as well, do you need the money from returning it? Since you already bought it my assumption is you are rationalising the need of having both systems as you can only play 1 at 1 time and there are only so many hours to spend gaming, and with so many strong multi-plats it is a hard justification. Aside from the financial aspect is it purely a gaming system or do you use other services i.e. have you set-up entertainment to run through DLNA or anything?

I tend to think you should keep it as there are more options available right now with the XB1 for entertainment outside gaming, and a lot of the PS4 exclusives are being pushed back to next year. Right now I am the opposite where my XB1 is set up and the PS4 is still in the box as the only exclusive content is Second Son (sorry not counting knack and don't starve), the interface feels outdated, and there is no ability to stream from the PC. This will all be fixed in time and I do like the PS4, however if I am going to pay a subscription for multiplayer I would prefer to use it on Microsoft IPs Forza and Titanfall, which then means my multiplayer multiplats are all on the XB1 as the PS4s Infamous is a single player mode and PS+ is yet to do anything on the PS4 that makes it a must subscribe.

If you are going to Xbox forums asking for people to convince you to keep it, you probably want to keep it, don't you think? I mean... ask yourself, what do you hope we say? Do that.

If you want the best multiplayer experience, the best OS and media features and the best games, keep the Xbox. If you want a subpar system that you'll use for nothing more than playing third party video games, stick with the PS4.

I'll never understand these threads seeking affirmation and validation. You're an adult. You made a decision. Stand by it. Or don't. Either way, why seek advice from strangers in making your decision? Does the opinion and/or approval of strangers really mean that much? After all, in the end, it's you that has to live with your final decision, right?

BTW, I'm not writing this to be mean or judgmental. I just don't understand threads like this.

so much mis-information it hurts.

to me both seem completely pathetic compared to a PC, but are there other factors? what do your friends play? do you play online with them?

I want a PS4 more, its a no brainer that their 1st party/2nd party games are far bigger deals. they will have the best multiplat support, best indie support, best MMO support, better graphics. PSN+ offers better deals than XBOX LIVE with games.

But sadly, alot of my console friends have bum-rushed Xbox Ones without research. so its either X1 or billy no mates.

can you afford to keep them both? just plug the ps4 into the xbox one :P

After seeing how much of a disappointment Titanfall was the future for Xbone doesn't look good. I honestly don't think it's going to get better exclusive wise. The launch determines a lot and I'm sure the gaming companies are having second thoughts on wanting to develop for Xbone.

I will probably keep it now. I returned the Titanfall bundle I purchased the first time around and I was able to get the Standard XBOX One with Forza for $399 +tax. It was a price mistake on Amazon. Sucks I have to pay tax though.

You're right though. This system is really failing. Prices keep getting lower on the bundles which I'm really surprised by.

It started with them trying to make Kinect mandatory and end the use of used games. After all the negative reactions then they decided to scrap it but still can't get themselves out from under the big pile of crap they buried themselves under.

$500 for X1 was still way too much to set at MSRP. Most people just said F that I'm going with Sony and now MS is trying final attempts to win people back. It's pathetic honestly.

A realistic price without Kinect should have been $299. $349 with Kinect. I just don't see the games for Xbone. Titanfall is the only game that's really had any hype and didn't live up to current standards. Graphics are the reasoning for moving to the next gen and Titanfall fell short.

Just keep it since you already bought it. Xbox one have some games that aren't available on the Playstation 4.

Your definition of failing must be wrong. They Xbox One has outsold the PS4 in March and sales are only going to pick up from here. Once Halo hits it won't even be close anymore. If you like playing games with friends the only choice is Xbox One. If you like playing a bunch of Japanese indie games alone, go PS4.

I think this thread is heading a little out of control guys, this is not System Wars remember. Look, as an owner of both consoles you can't go wrong with either one, and having both is just a privilege. Xbox One has some amazing exclusives with more new IP's to come and so does the PS4, only a fanboy will claim the PS4 doesn't have interesting exclusives. I don't get why people are structuring their sentences as if the OP has to choose between the two? He already has a PS4 in case you guys didn't read.

They are beating PS4 in March sales because of all the sales they're having. MS is getting really desperate. A few days ago TigerDirect was selling the Titanfall bundle for $450 and now they're selling them for $440. They sold a bunch of the bundles for $400 on their own website. It was a "price mistake" but they honored it for all the people who ordered.

When you're knocking off so much money on a newly released console already then you should win at least that month, but still that's just one month.

for me it would come down to exclusive games for the xbone. i mean if youre already sure youre keeping the ps4 and theres no xbone exclusives that youre into why bother with it? i know i wouldnt pay $500 just because i prefer the controller.

ive always liked forza so i kinda want an xbone but ill wait until its much cheaper in price since i have a ps4 unless xbox miraculously starts unloading awesome exclusives on us. then i might have to break down and get one

Too much good stuff on both tbh. Keep both since you already have both. I mean really, whats an extra 40.00 for live (what it costs if your smart). I prefer the controller and achievments for xbox.
