Should I rent or buy the Darkness?

I heard a lot of good things about it, but i like mostly online gaming and this one apperently doesn't have a good one...or am i wrong?

I heard the single player though with good...

I'd like to hear about some who bought it...

i would just rent it. i bought it not knowing alot about the online. the online is laggy and seems trhow together really quickly.

Yeah it seems the online play isn't very good, but I wasn't expecting it to be. However, the single player campaign is too good to pass up so it most definitely should be atleast a rental for everyone to experience.

I bought it as a leap of faith, and I really enjoyed the single player. It's now my favorite 360 game, but MP is pretty laggy, so you should wait for them to fix that if you plan on buying, or you could just play through the fantastic single player over and over like a lot of people are. :P

rent it.. the single player is good but its short and the online is very laggy.

So far the single player is very good. MP is like Prey when it first shiped: unplayable. Hope they patch it up soon. Since there really is no MP I would say rent unless they fix it.

I really enjoyed it, both online and off. If you play 2 on 2 matches you'll get lag rarely, also 3 on 3 works fine sometimes. If you're the type that likes to replay single player a lot then I'd say it's a good buy.

rent it....play through the single player

the multiplayer ruins the game...to laggy and tacked on...

If your only looking for MP, then i woudl suggest a rent first as the multiplayer is laggy. The single player is one of the best ive played though, great in every aspect.

Yeah, Rent..its a great game, but I beat it in one day...lol.. so not too long...and the multiplayer is blah...there are some "cool" moments, but overall its laggy and pointless.

yeah multilpayer is pretty bad..in your case i would rent it. if you play it alot you should be able to beat it ina rentals time, thats what i did. ill probably be buying it once it gets cheaper the single player was one of the best i've played on the 360 so far.
