Nah, I already played through Mass Effect. Tried playing it again as a biotic, but it didn't seem as good as the first time playing through it. I'm going to trade Mass Effect no matter what.Mass Effect 6$??? Dude Mass Effect is an awesome game, you shouldn't trade it for six bucks! Also I think COD4 single player has replay value just because it's so awesome, but if you don't wanna play it anymore, then 22$ is a pretty good price.

there's no point in getting MW2 if you're trading in MW1. because you will get tired of it because you don't have live, mhm.orb_03_2006I'm getting Live in like Spring (it's a complicated situation) so I could play MW2 then. But I think I should trade in MW1 now because after MW2 releases I won't get the money I would get right now for it.

I recommend keeping them both and buying LIVE instead of a new game. LIVE gives new life to every game you own, especially games like CoD 4 and Halo 3. However, if you're sure you don't want to try out LIVE, I recommend trading in CoD 4 but keeping Halo 3 for its local multi-player. Also, if you dont't have LIVE I don't think MW2 is really worth a $60 dollar purchase; get Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum or wait until Splinter Cell: Conviction comes out next year.

However, keep Halo 3 or else you'll regret it when you get LIVE.
best places to trade in games are at the smaller retailers, the less locations they have, the better the deals youll get usually. Here in St. Catharines (southern ontario) we have a small chain called entertainment overload that releases what they call a weekly "juice" list, where they offer more cash than youd usually get for popular or newer games, they're buying batman for $40 cash right now aswell as a few others. If you have a kijiji for your city it's always good to check the sponsored links in the vg section there as smaller retailers love to advertise on sites like that. Also, always quote a price you've got from somewhere else when you sell it, and when you quote that price always add like $5 to it, so if blockbuster said they'd buy your game for $20, take it somewhere else and tell them blockbuster offered you $25 for it, you'd be surprised how often that works.
Just keep them both, both are top notch shooters for the console. So what if you don't have Xbox Live, at least you have the single player campaigns. I definitely agree that you should get Batman: Arkham Asylum though, just do some work and save up for it.
guys, accessing live isn't always as simple as plugging it in and getting started, theres tons of factors like internet availability, then the cost of live itself, getting dsl installed even in areas were its accessible isn't always easy and it's definately not always cheap, and for those of us that don't live with mommy and daddy sometimes things like eating and keeping the lights on takes precident :p
I can't just get Live, I'm stuck with dial-up for a reason. They don't provide DSL where I live, and to get cable internet I have to get a 1000 dollar installation because my driveway is too long. But thanks for the opinions! :(mb10ramsSince you incapable of getting Xbox Live, Modern Warfare 2 is not worth a purchase. Batman AA is a great game & will give you a fairly good amount of game time. In your type situation games like Fallout 3, Oblivion, Assassin's Creed & its upcoming sequel, as well as the upcoming Dragon Age Origins are much smarter purchases. Some other upcoming 09 releases that could possibly fit you might be Alpha Protocol, Brutal Legend, & Risen.
