Should I try KOTOR?

I'm a big fan of RPG's but I never got around to palying the KOTOR series. Is it worth checking them out?

Just in case: You do know that you need to download the downloadable content data form xbox live (or the xbox website)?

Anyway, KOTOR is one of the best xbox games, combat is semi turnbased. Which is good as compleetly turnbased doesn't work for me and the conversation are great aswell. You can go through the game multible times and do things differently and eery playthrough alst you a long time aswell. And you MUST get KOTOR1, you can alwys buy part 2 later but KOTOR 1 is a classic. KTOR 2 is just an improved version with better combat, animation etc but the story isn't good. And the bug secret of KOTOR1 will be revealed, which destroys a big part of the fun for KOTOR1.
