my tv supports both but i not really sure which one i should use when playing xbox360Braedon12I personally use 720p, you'll get a better quality with the fact that it's progressive so use 720p unless you can use 1080p then use that for whatever games support it.
Generic_Dude's Primer To Interlaced v. Progressive Scan:
0000000000
1111111111
0000000000
1111111111
Interlaced: Displays only 0s, then only 1s -- this alternates very quickly so that you don't see the gap.
Progressive: Displays 0s and 1s at the same time, resulting in a crisper picture.
EDIT: Try both and see which one looks better. It does depend on your television.

the xbox 360 does not have a hdmi plug in so it will always be a fake 1080.....beacause it doesn't suport it..lazzy102nonsense. you don't need HDMI for 1080P. don't speak if you have no clue what yu are talking about.
