There is defiantly room in the market to move into it. Honestly I think it's better if they just focus on the 360. Microsoft is matching Sony pretty well. They should just keep hammering away at this part of the market.
I'd rather MS focus on one console and make it the best it can be than split their focus on two different platforms.
Also I would much rather be gaming in HD on a large TV than straining my eyes on a 3" screen. Having seen GRID on DS and 360 it really brings home how vast the difference in graphics is

I agree.
Microsoft hasn't come out with one yet because Apple hasn't come out with one. Since MS lacks originality and innovation they, therefore, have nothing to copy from. :lol:g5velocity
so MS copied there XBL service from apple errr nop and it's the best online service so go away troll.
halo portable.. will be awesome.
i would love a xbox portable, get connected to xbox live and play some cod4,that alone will at least destroy the psp.
i think it would be cool if they make a handheld system that played all of our xbox live arcade games.
it would be a good thing as consumers we have more choiceskingrich06
More choice does not always mean better.
MS have a certain amount of money they are prepared to spend on their gaming side. You can keep it all focused on one thing (the 360) and produce a lot of high quality games. Or you could split it into lots of smaller projects, for instance one could be a handheld. While you get more choice, less is spent on each game, and the usual result is poorer quality.
I'd rather have a smaller selection of higher quality games, than a wide selection of average ones
A handheld with dual analogue control would be amazing. You can't play a third/first person shooter without decent camera control. Sort this problem out and playing a Halo type game would sell bucketloadsJustWiicredible
I actually think the DS fps controlls work very well. I would rather have them over the analogue sticks - its more "mouse"-like
As an owner of a DS and a PSP I would say no, I never even use either of them, the other lame fact about the PSP is that if you buy Madden for 360, PS3 whatever, why would you want a second copy for you PSP and that is the case with a number of games, DS does have a lot of stuff made for the DS only but again I never use it.
A way that they could maybe make their way in however would be a system that allowed you for a small charge to download games such as madden to your handheld if you already owned them for 360, but I am sure the devs would not like this and copy right issues would also be huge
