there no real point. Do u wanna spend 15 minutes trying to type www.gamespot.com with your controller. On the other hand if/when the 360 gets keyboard support it would be a good idea.

agreed, i don't want to be typing for like 10 mins to get to gamespot and besides if i wanted to surf the net i would go on my computer

It does support a USB keyboard already. It has since launch. You can type all day using a keyboard and your 360 to send text messages to friends.

WOW, they should have because they should. What are talking about no keyboard support. Xbox 360 always had keyboard support since launch. I have been using my keyboard since then. I use every day, when I send messages. I use it in PSU (phantasy star universe)

It'd be awesome if it had one and you can download stuff from online onto the HDD. That's what I've been saying for a while though. It'd be a cool way to get songs for your 360, and movies to watch on it. But maybe next time around. Or never, probably.

Sure, would be nice to have access to game forums - as for regular browsing no, i wouldn't use it.

the 360 has had usb keyboard support since day 1.

the xbox supports keyboard..wirelss ones too.cept the num lock dont work

it would be cool cause i would be able to look at like a game guide without having to disconnect from Xbox Live (i have my 360 wired directly to my modem so i cant have the internet running on my computer when im on xbox live) so ya id like one

first off whats with the triple post.and no they cannot be infected by viruses cause virus creators dont have to tools to create viruses for them.

anyone with the full media center hook up knows that there kind of is an internet browser already for the 360, although it's extremely limited.

The web would be painful without mouse and keyboard support.  So id have to say no, unless support for those is allowed.

thank you exactly!!!  why is this even an issue??!  Who CARES that the 360 doesnt have a web browser?!?  So every time i want to surf the web on my 360 because im too lazy to get off the couch I have to get off the couch anyway and plug in a keyboard to do it?  Give me a break man....

Im totally with you...if you have a PC at home (which...if you own a 360 valued at $400 but you STILL dont own a PC then you need to get yourself checked and have someone put your priorities in order) then there is NO reason to have a stupid web browser on your gaming console.

You're usin a internet browser already to post here, what more do you want? A browser on the pc would be way easier to use then a 360 browser.

wish granted. the 360 supports USB based keyboards and you can actually mod it to accept mouses too

Yes but the support is limited to messages and minor things. But the mouse is not. Im talking about full keyboard and full mouse support which is not supported.

we should be able to download the web browser via XBL using Microsoft points, that would be great, people who want a browser would have the choice to download it or not
