Should Xbox360 owners feel jealous about the new Metal Gear game?

As far as console wars go this kight be one of those " Dammit! i wish this was out for the 360" games, but anyone know any games that'll blow this out of the water?

This should be in system wars.

MGS4 is a good game, according to gamesradar.com but no single game has made me want to purchase a console. I will likely find a friend with a PS3 and play it but I'm not going to whine about it being exclusive. I say, good for PS3 owners. Let them enjoy their games in peace.

NO!!! If you look at the big picture, all gamers benefit from each console having their own major exclusives. Competition is great....it keeps MS and Sony on their toes. But I must say as a very happy owner of the 360 and ps3 I'm thrilled to know that I will be playing the 2 BIGGEST gaming tittles of 2008....Geow2 and MGS4.

I have no doubt that MGS4 is gioing to be the best PS3 game for some time yet, however it's my experience that 360 fans (And any console fanboys for that matter) will be happy with what they're getting and continue to defend their positions fervently regardless of the quality the opposition has. (I'm sure there are some WII fanboys around shouting 'BRWL IS BETTAR THAN MGS4!!!!!!1111' right now.....)

I'll be getting it anyway, because I'll be buying a PS3 for the game such is my faith that it's going to be nothing short of incredible.

I liked MGS1 i never finished it,then got bored of 2 fast and that was it!

MGS4 looks way to japanesy for me!

Since i never played any metal gear solid games before it doesnt bother me to much. if it was on the 360 id get it, and i do plan now on getting the first 3 for my ps2, but as far as feeling jealous, ps3 owners should be jealous of to little games coming out later this year

I don't get that, why would people be so whiney and complain so much about a reasonably short install time?!!

Go make some tea, if you don't like tea, go take a leak, if you don't need to, read a magazine, if you don't want to- find something else to do, gaming surely isn't taking up every single second of your life. MGS looks great but it is not the game that tips the scales for me, I have a few hates for the series as much as I do enjoy it.

haha I think Metal Gear games are just plain decent and overhyped.

I'm getting a ps3 but not because of MGS4. Never really liked the stealth games but i'll buy it because it looks pretty good. I'm mainly buying my ps3 for FF13 and Little big planet. Plus whatever good exclusives come out.craigalan23

SHould Xbox 360 owners be jealous? NO .. we already have tons of brilliant games on our console (exclusives!) .. Am i jealous? YES...i've loved this franchise for MANY MANY years anbd i felt that MGS 3 was a Phenomenol game .. huhh!! But whatever , we still got a lot of great games on the 360!

They will just release it for 360 later on as they have with other games in the past. "Exclusive" really only means "Exclusive for a set period of time". That is why they are working on bringing Bioshock to PS3 and you can play Metal Gear games on the original Xbox and Gamecube. Any smart company knows how much more money they can make by releasing big games on other systems later, so just be patient, we'll get it eventually.

No they won't, BTW. They never ported MGS3 and they won't port this one. Do you really think Sony would let them do that when they're losing? No way, they'll reach into their deep pockets and pay them whatever they want for exclusivity.
