If they promise they will never make another one the 100 is worth it just for that. LOL just kidding. But I guess when you are going to fork out that kind of dough for a game you want bang for your buck so the full trilogy would be a cool purchase.
There is still sales value in Halo 1 and 2 so that's why they are not gonna include it. It was cool however to see Quake 2 for PC on the Quake 4 DVD for Xbox 360.
i will probably go collectors, legendary just dosent have enough features, without the original two reformatted for ultimate 360 viewing i wouldn't bother i have to take my xbox downstairs to play halo, as my LCD tv can't display the correct resolution
It has all the cutscenes in HD. :) I dont think it should have all three games. Why would anybody be buying the legendary edition of Halo 3 if they havent played 1 or 2? It's cleary aimed at hardcore fans.

All those cuts scenes would be a good refresher, but I think you can easily get them off a website somewhere.
It would be nice to have remade Halo's 1 & 2 on the new engine in the legendary edition, but to be honest: Halo 1 & 2 look good the way they are. Anyway, I already have the games so it isn't that big of a deal. And to all you naysayers: I love bungie and Halo, and buying the Legendary edition is the least I can do to support them.
