This game didn't recieve good reviews, and many people on these forums are trashing it. Would anyone reconsider buying it for $41 depsite the hate?

I still haven't decided. Tell me what you think.

Possibly, the multiplayer looked kinda fun but I'm really not even sure if it is worth the time.

Which is why we can all appreciate a game like Red Dead Redemption which offers not only a huge single player exeprience, but also solid multi-player.

At the sight of your post I checked the link to joystiq and the review here at gamespot and quickly found out that unfortunatly the game only has a 5-6hr campaign, and anyone in their right mind would not pay $60 for that. Its really to bad cuz the story line seems really cool, but not enough to sell the game on its own, and i would like to spend more then 5-6 hours with it.

What I dont get is how they promoted the game so intensley for almost as many months (5-6) as the game is hours long. So mis-leading, and disappointing.

I bought it and it's really disappointing. The singleplayer is both short and lacks substance. The multiplayer is Duty Calls 2, and the servers never work. If they fix the servers then it might actually be fun to play.

Double post- Campaign is 3 hours on normal if you do not skip cutscenes. 6 hours is a huge exaggeration.

Any game with only 5 hours of campaign should be $40 to begin with. I'll probably rent it first, and if it's any good I'll grab it for $40.

Yikes, I was just going off the estimates i heard/read in reviews, but thats even worse.

It was being bashed on here weeks before it even came out. It's as if some people want it to do bad.wretch0101
