Demo was very easy... unless you're talking about finding everything, like the Cliches and the hidden items? If so, then yeah, that was a bit hard, but all you had to do was run around.
As for the demo, it was very easy. C'mon, hit the guy's weak points? That's easy!
Is it just me or is the demo for the Simpsons game really difficult, and not in a good way? I played for around twenty minutes and it was just so frustrating... In the end I just gave up. Jeff Keighley also mentioned that he couldn't complete the demo on this week's Game Head.talkingpie92
It was pretty hard for me too. I couldn't figure out how to hit the donut guy the 2nd time so I just gave up.
I wouldn't say HARD, but it was a lot of work when you figured out what it meant to finish the baddy off.
I mean, yes, it's simple to use Bart to slingshot the target on the Donut Boy, then jump and damage it. The other panels you just have to wait until he's near some plateform that you can jump up on and make it to the openings. The last was hard as there were few spots to reach the top of Donut Boy, and if you messed up, he runs off. So I left Bart high up on the construction, then switched to Homer, and tried to lead the bad guy to that spot, then switched back to bart, took a shot, then used the bat cape to glide down to the opening.
Well what made it annoying for me was that 1. the unused characters kept getting attacked and stunned when I left them somewhere on purpose, 2. I found it really fiddly to jump down and land on lard lad's hatch thing, 3. He was really difficult to get in the right place because he kept running away, 4. Bart's slingshot ammo fires so slowly that Lard Lad can easily move out of the way.
On their own none of those things are that bad, and they shouldn't necessarily be perceived as faults, but it's just that when you combine them all it gets really frustrating. Just my opinion.... I wouldn't expect everyone to agree.
