though to be honest i think my heart is going to snap in half if this game is bad. the TH games r some of my favorite games ever, and i rly cant handle another bad th game

I dont think too many people are excited for this game. I think most people are burnt out on skateboard games since the Tony Hawk series took a plunge for a while (it looks as though its coming back though). Skate looks pretty cool, but I doubt its at the top of anyones lists. Maybe the demo will change that.

I saw a new video on 1UP I think, and you do all the flip moves by rotating the joystick in a specific pattern but Im not sure if you actually controll the board or not.

i have to agree, i use to play Tony Hawk 1 & 2 back in the day. Now i don't expect anything new so i have to budget my $ and use it on something that's worth my personal purchasing taste.

seriously, damn, I havent got any updates on my RSS feeds about that, just the one delay about PGR4.
I wouldnt mind picking up a skateboarding game as i really enjoyed the first couple of Tony Hawk games but i havent bought them in a while will i get one this fall unlikely since there are many other games i want more but i think i will probably pick up either this or THPG sometime early next year unless they both turn out bad.

I can tell you one thing, the devs of this game are really passionate about skating and making a good skating game. And they listen to their community, which is unheard of lol.
I dunno, there's a way to turn THPG into a realistic game, but I won't anyways. I've always liked the series and the new one has tons of new insane features, like how they expanded nail the trick and stuff, so I'll be picking that up instead of skate.
Tony Hawk 3 was the best and it went down hill after that and it got boring after that too. So Im not might dl it but I really could care less about that game.

you're thinking wrong then.. there's quite a few people waiting for this game. pretty much every skater that has a 360. (and knows about the game) are wanting it.. well, waiting to try the demo anyway. if it turned out as good as most fans think it will, it'll be a helluva game.
it will be way harder to pull tricks than tony hawk, and i really look forward to that. tony hawk got pretty boring when all you did was pretty much one consecutive trick.
