Skate is Sweet!!!

skate = sim skateboarding. its tough and challenging. graphics look great.

th seris= fun, arcadey, graphics are ok for this year.

so its your choice of fun over challenging and real.

skate good luck landing a 720 or 900

th 720 and 900 are now challenge. i played both demos come on no way u get that kinda air in that short o distance and can land backflips and crap.

no its possible to land 720 etc. there is a lot of big ramps etc to catch major air and do flips and all kind of stuff landing is the trick more so sometimes, but nothing is impossible in this game just have t find the place to do it, and jus practiceto get in and out of tricks but thats he fun part,i am not a huge th fan becuse ollie on to powerlines is a little excessive in the realism area, and skates controls are difficult but not once you get used to them.

basically my point. u can jump of any type of ramp and land 540s and 720s with little effort. in skate u have to actually use the right ramps and crap to land big tricks. cant just be some dinky little kicker.

This sucks I just got off of work and I go by game rush in blockbuster and they tell me the release date is now the 21st. I am so mad.

Yeah the demo is pretty good. But now i'm more looking forward to THPG moreas that will have much more stuff in it and won't be as frustrating. Plus it will be more fun. No doubt i'l have people disagreeing with me though...SirMonotone

To each is his own. I thought the THPG Demo was awful. Same boring stuff. The Nail the Grab and Manual will be cool for 15 mins just like Nail the trick was in project 8. The animations are horrible and the gameplay is just tired. But like you said it's ur opinion.
