Well Tony Hawk doesn't have any nostalgia really. The games have only really added features that should've been added years ago. Proving grounds only adds to what Project 8 didn't have. Project 8 was more like a return to basics after how bad American Wasteland was but it was limited but PG just adds onto it with more clothing customisation, new nail the trick stuff, video editor and a new word. It seems so much like an expansion pack rather than a new game. Project 8 had very little customisation and nail the trick was one of the worst innovations in the TH franchise, I didn't use it outside of the actual nail the trick moments. Nevasoft are just trying to find reason to keep shealing out a new TH game year after year and even if PG ends up being the best TH due to all it's content, where do they go from here? Adding more clothes? Refining the video editor? I think they really need to take a break from making the TH games and give themselves time to really think up some better ideas.illbitcrusher
I have to disagree, when you have a sequel to the game what do you want, new levels, new ways to customize charcters and added features that is what you expect and that is exactly what you get. Plus the nail the trick feature was dope you literally customized you own kicks and spins in mid air, while in slow motion, with a close up. Honestly skate may look dope but I doubt it will have all the classic features like Tony Hawk. What do you want them to add to the game?
i hate the over the top tricks on THPS game...
skate is more down to earth and u have a huge city that is open for skating from the 1st time u play, so no unlocking tricks or new lvls...
id say Skate.
